?Chapter 393: Chapter 394 Arrangements (4)_1 Chapter 393: Chapter 394 Arrangements (4)_1 Inside was the goose-yellow dress she wore when she first came to Liang Chen’s villa.
Jing Haohao stared at the dress for a while, reached out, took it out, and put it on.
Jing Haohao sat in front of the dressing table and put on some light makeup. She didn’t normally care for rouge, but this time she used some blush to make herself look spirited and pretty.
She picked up the coat she wore yesterday, wanting to see if there was anything important in the pockets, but accidentally touched five hard objects. Seeing they were the stones she had picked up from the bushes, Jing Haohao stared at them for a while, and finally put them together with her wallet and phone into her purse and left the room.
Nanny Lin and the servants are always busy in the villa. Jing Haohao stood at the railing on the second floor and watched everyone tirelessly dusting the already clean furniture.
She slowly turned her head and glanced around the rooms on the second floor. The window at the end of the corridor was open, with a gentle spring breeze blowing in, carrying the freshness unique to the suburbs.
Jing Haohao, with her bag in her hand, slowly entered the painting studio. The paintbrushes and watercolors inside had been tidied by the servants and were neatly arranged.
She walked forward, her fingers gently touching every item inside. After one round, she came back to the door. Jing Haohao scanned the studio with a calm gaze, then raised her hand and gently closed the door.
Jing Haohao lowered her head, swallowed, turned around, and went downstairs.
“Miss Jing, are you going out?” Nanny Lin saw Jing Haohao heading downstairs fully dressed, and paused in her work.
“The property management of my apartment called, saying there’s an urgent package for me to pick up.”
With a driver accompanying her and it being just for a package pick-up, Nanny Lin didn’t overthink and instructed the driver to get the car ready.
Jing Haohao sat in the car, looking through the rearview mirror, she saw the villa that had confined her for more than half a year growing more and more distant until it eventually was swallowed by a stretch of green mountains.
Since being taken to the villa by Liang Chen, Jing Haohao hadn’t returned to her apartment for quite some time. The driver stopped the car at the entrance of the residential complex, and she directly returned to her apartment.
Because it had been unoccupied for so long, the interior was full of dust, and on the wall were some joint photographs of her and Shen Liangnian.
Jing Haohao set down her bag, walked in, and immediately took off all the photos, casually throwing them onto the living room floor. Then she went to the bedroom, opened a drawer, and took out several albums, with photos of her and Shen Liangnian together, as well as individual photos of them.
Those photos included them in ragged clothes in a desolate small town, as well as grand pictures at the luxurious hotels in Jiangshan City with them in gorgeous clothes enjoying sumptuous meals. They were snapshots of the ten years they had gone through together.
