The lead actors and some guest stars all sat with the director, with dedicated flatterers personally delivering their meals.
Supporting actors like Jing Haohao and the staff had to get their lunchboxes themselves. There weren’t enough seats for everyone, so they just ate their meals around the filming set.

After a mere half an hour of dining, people were called upon for touch-up makeup and then another scene was filmed, that made up for the deficit from yesterday’s shooting delay.
The director checked the upcoming shooting schedule. Filming for the entire day was no longer possible, but since the weather was nice today, a sunset scene in the rural area of Jiangshan City was on the schedule. Thus everyone was asked to board a vehicle that had been prepared in advance, and they headed straight for the outskirts of Jiangshan city.
Upon arrival, after setting up everything and just as the sun was about to set, everyone touched up their makeup and began the formal shooting.
After approximately two hours of hustling, they finally wrapped up. Everyone removed their makeup; it was already getting dark.
The crew had packed up all the filming equipment, and those who had removed makeup were getting on the bus.
Not all makeup artists went to the suburbs with them, so with limited help, they had to remove makeup one by one. After what happened yesterday, Jing Haohao felt embarrassed to jump the queue, so she ended up being the last one.
After removing her makeup, she hurriedly picked up her clothes and went to a nearby restroom to change. When she came out after changing, she found out that the crew’s bus had already left.
The outskirts were empty. Without a single person from the crew in sight, Jing Haohao looked around holding the crew’s clothes, and finally approached a middle-aged woman who informed her that the crew’s bus had just left a while ago.
Jing Haohao rushed towards the highway but could only vaguely see the silhouette of the bus.
Jing Haohao took a couple of steps forward, then stopped to call the driver, only to find out that her bag was still on the bus.
Jing Haohao tapped her foot in frustration and decided to hail a taxi to get back to the city. Once she reached the villa, she planned to have Nanny Lin pay for it.
The crew had chosen a remote location for filming, so Jing Haohao had to wait for a considerable amount of time by the roadside. There was no taxi in sight, let alone any vehicle heading towards the city.
