Chapter 148: Country Villa (Mild R)
Chapter 148: Country Villa (Mild R)
They arrived in the country villa a few hours later. There were still a few zombies, but they could be handled by the soldiers and the civilians, knowing that Khalifa and the others were now indisposed.
They entered a tall reinforced wall with awe, entering a peaceful area.
There was a wide road for two cars heading to the villa at least a hundred meters away. Between were gardens turned to farms, and some were tents.
People stopped whatever they were doing and looked at them in interest, especially when they saw the soldiers. Their party felt a bit shy and someone even waved his hand as if he was a celebrity.
Soon they got closer to the villa, and because it was elevated, they saw the entire property a bit more holistically.
The property was large, a few hundred square meters in area. And it seemed to have a complete system of its own, with a makeshift residential area, farms, and the like.
They couldn’t help but be in awe. "Amazing. This could be a base right?"
"But the movements of zombies would pass through here. It’s safe now, but not for long." Claire said, still the smartest. This dampened their moods a bit and couldn’t help but feel pity for all that had been built.
Anyway, they continued on and they paused outside the threshold of the door. It was a high-end wooden door with various security features.
It was very high-end.
"Aren’t you an orphan?" Laura asked, genuinely curious. But Claire pinched her and she quickly realized the question was tactless.
"I mean… er… it’s amazing."
Khalifa wasn’t offended, fortunately, and only shrugged. "I saved a person’s life but he was dying, he had no family and decided to give me half his fortune instead."
"Oh I remember! Those warnings! Did you?"
"Not really. Just an inkling. But it was enough to give it my all."
"So you knew…" Mira mumbled and attracted a few suspicious eyes from a few people. Indeed, Khalifa seemed to know what would happen. Why didn’t she just say so?
Claire’s eyebrows furrowed but not to Khalifa, but to Mira. Khalifa, as always, took the question in stride.
"Like I said, it wasn’t to the point I am certain enough to cause chaos." She answered casually.
Immediately, she threw the question back to Mira. "Don’t you have predictive abilities?"
"I…" Mira paused, a little shaken. "I only had dreams when it began…" she paused, tears slowly forming. "I’m sorry… if I had them earlier—"
"No, you already saved many!" Boba quickly patted her hand with Ron nodding vehemently.
Claire rubbed her forehead, an inkle of annoyance uncharacteristically brewing. "Everyone’s tired." She just said, "Let’s just get our rest."
However, they couldn’t all fit inside, and most people had to stay in the tents outside, which were—for the most part— already included as supplies in the house.
"The house is full, unfortunately. We can only clear out a few rooms. Other than Ms. Khalifa’s room, we can clear out two more rooms to fit ten people."
Although there were some mumblings, the method of choosing people to enter was straightforward.
The soldiers wanted to pass, feeling shy to take up space when they were used to the rough outdoors.
Ryo shook his head though, "Top performers shall rest the most comfortably tonight."
After all, the journey back to the base wasn’t safe, maybe even more dangerous. It was for everyone’s peace of mind that the strongest could get some well-deserved rest.
The other room was also given to the civilian top performers, inducing Claire. Mira was included as her suitor, one of the better boys, gave the space to her after a little passive aggressive suggestions from Boba.
Manipulated by Mira, of course.
In any case, a small group of people gestured to enter the mansion for some well-deserved rest.
***
They entered the house and a group of people met them, looking at the group with varying emotions.
Many of the people here actually watched her livestream and they were extremely thankful to her. Some of them even hated her before this.
After all, many of those who watched her last live stream were anti fans who wanted to bash her.
The act fatefully saved their lives.
Similarly, they obsessively watched Kaize as he just stood there, wanting to jump on him.
The reason why he was left alone in the end was because there were embers around him that made him scary to approach (and extremely cool to admire from afar).
There were also plenty of survivors who had watched her and her sex scandal video. These men couldn’t help but look at her greedily, as if tracing her body with their eyes.
They were scared by the glares of three men however, so they dare not be so open with their stares for long.
Mr. Bo—who had just returned from administering medicine to his young daughter, Liana—then introduced the others’ identities and said that they would be going back to a legitimate base handled by the military.
"What?" Someone asked, an obvious authority figure in the group. As one of the people who could live comfortably, how could he be willing to go somewhere else?
"We won’t require you to come." Mr. Bo said very simply, "But do be warned that this is the only safe haven in the area. Millions of zombies surround us. Eventually, those walls would give in."
"..."
The others looked at each other, conflicted, and Mr. Bo didn’t say anything else. The rest was their decision to make.
Anyway, the room for Khalifa had long been cleaned up, so he turned to the girl and invited her to rest.
The two other rooms for them were settled in, while Khalifa’s had also been cleared.
A few eyes watched as Khalifa entered with three men.
Although a lot of them were sleeping in the same room, Khalifa’s meant different because they knew they were all her lovers.
Boba, in particular, couldn’t help but grit her teeth. "Slut."
Claire—who was already a bit irritable for some reason—finally couldn’t take it anymore. "If you’re going to badmouth the owner of the house then leave!"
"Calm down Claire…" Mira said with a soothing voice.
While Claire knew she was being a little uncharacteristically emotional, she knew she wasn’t wrong. "Stop it."
She then turned to Boba, "You can’t mock or badmouth someone when you’re benefiting from her! That’s shameless!"
"She didn’t… mean to."
"Oh? Then control your follower, Mira. It’s getting on my nerves." She just said, before entering.
Ryo, just outside of their room, watched the door close with amused eyes, before heading in to rest as well.
***
In another room.
As soon as the door closed, Khalifa was pulled in by strong arms—Kaize’s.
He embraced her soft waist and pulled her flush to his hard body. A moment later, her mouth was taken, desperately sampling it.
"Hmmm…."
Kaize had been hungry for so long and it showed in how he devoured her mouth.
For some time, the sound of saliva being exchanged echoed in the room.
A new set of lips found her neck, licking, wanting to taste all of her. His naughty hands found the inside of her shirt and her pants. One warm hand pinched her nipples under her clothing, and one rubbed her clit, making her immediately leak a bit.
"I want a bath…" she said, holding Cauis’ head, stopping him from licking.
"It’s dirty…" Although she had taken a bath that morning, they’ve been fighting pretty much the whole time since then.
Caius smiled and continued to lick. "Nonsense."
But she was really uncomfortable, pouting, and Cauis paused.
He smiled. "I remembered the bathtub here was large…" he said. After all, he studied the plans very carefully.
He knew the maps of her properties like it was the back of his hand.
Caius and Kaize’s eyes met and the latter immediately carried her to the bathroom.
Anyway it had only been a week, there should still be water in the tanks. Even if there weren’t, Khalifa could produce it easily.
As she was carried, she saw Jacob standing still, just watching them go.
"Jacob?" She asked and the two men halted their footsteps, following her stare.
At this, the two men looked at each other and sighed helplessly.
They looked at the younger man and asked.
"Aren’t you coming?"
