Destroying My Own World

Chapter 261 Last gift.

Luciel and her sisters had forgotten how many angels they had killed and how long it had been. They were separated quite far away from each other, but that wasn't a problem for them knowing they could handle themselves. The problem was when Metatron stopped coming out of the gate and they felt something ominous from the gate.

All her sisters gathered around and that was when Luciel saw Lucifer coming out of the gate. He looked messed up with an unrecognizable body which made them think about what had happened to him. One thing that they knew was his eyes were empty and the broken wings on his back.

"Are you going to fight him on your own?" Beldathiel asked.

"Fight? I don't think he still has the strength to lift his sword," Luciel answered and watched Lucifer fall off the gate and let his body adrift toward Luciel. "But yes, I'll try to deal with him on my own. I have a personal grudge against him in the first place," Luciel added and then flew toward Lucifer.

"Let me guess. You're here to stop us in exchange for your freedom?" Luciel asked as she looked at the silver blood all over Lucifer's body and a big hole in his chest.

Lucifer didn't say anything as he lifted his sword with his trembling weak hand. The moment he swung his sword down at Luciel, Luciel flicked it and it was enough to make him lose his grip on the handle. They both watched the sword floating away and there was nothing he could do to get it back.

"As long as you're all here, I'm doing my job," Lucifer answered as he coughed. "You can't win against him," Lucifer warned as he kept staring at his sword with his eyes barely open. Explore more adventures at My Virtual Library Empire

"Do you think Mykel would make a move if doesn't know what he's doing?" Luciel asked as she put her sword on Lucifer's shoulder. "Unlike you who rushed things out and didn't even bother to find out about The Lord's origin that made you lose miserably," Luciel pointed out and pointed the blade at Lucifer's neck.

"So he knew about who The Lord is?" Lucifer asked and looked at the blade about to cut his throat. "What makes it different if I knew or not? Even if you're as strong as him, you'll meet hundreds or even thousands of him somewhere," Lucifer pointed out.

Luciel scoffed and then she didn't hesitate to cut off Lucifer's arms and legs. Her sisters were shocked as to why she suddenly did that, and the only one who understood what was going on was Beldathiel.

Lucifer had no strength to even let out a scream and could only groan. Suddenly Luciel stabbed him in the chest and moved him around like a skewer of meat.

"I know your games. You're trying to dig out information about Mykel's plan by acting weak and vulnerable. In the end, you lick your own spit and shamefully beg The Lord to set you free. You're not Lucifer that I know, you're worse than him," Luciel said as she looked at Lucifer in disgust.

"I know you're not stupid, you never were," Lucifer weakly smiled. "I did what I can do, and now I have no use..." Lucifer coughed and slowly lifted his head to look at Luciel. "Kill me and let me be with my brothers and sisters..." Lucifer pointed out.

Luciel pulled the sword out of Lucifer's chest and then she cut him in half. Lucifer's body turned into a bright light and something fell to Luciel's hand, an orb as big as a small marble.

Amaryllis appeared right next to Luciel to identify the orb in Luciel's hand. It was Lucifer's core, his pure soul, one of the few souls with high intelligence, and consciousness, and held a small amount of The Lord's power.

"You can swallow it if you want since it will turn you into a perfect being," Amaryllis pointed out after she looked into the orb. "You won't feel a thing and you won't be affected by The Lord's will since I cut the connection and keep the power within," Amaryllis continued.

Luciel looked at it for a few moments as she thought about whether she should take it or not. Beldathiel then suddenly came and grabbed the orb from her hand, and then she put the orb in front of Luciel's lips.

"If anything bad happens to you, we will help you. For now, we might need this so you can help the others," Beldathiel said as she stared into Luciel's eyes.

Luciel slowly opened her mouth and then Beldathiel put the orb into Luciel's mouth. She swallowed the orb and she felt like she was swallowing the biggest and hottest sun.

Luciel's body, eyes, and every hole in her body started sipping light out. Her body started to burn and her heart raced as her eyes throbbed in pain, but then Beldathiel hugged her from behind.

"I'm here. You'll be fine," Beldathiel said as she let her share the pain and prevented the power from overwhelming Luciel by using her [Inertia] skill.

Seeing how Beldathiel struggled to hold Luciel on her own, Glasya came to share the pain. Zherlthsh and the others then followed as they all hugged Luciel, letting themselves get burned by the colorless flame.

Amaryllis watched as each of them gained The Lord's power through sharing the pain. They grew stronger the longer they got exposed to the flame and absorbed it into their bodies. She then left after she was sure that everything was under control.

The moment the burning feeling stopped, and when they all looked at each other, they were dumbfounded. They saw their bodies glew bright white and how their wings changed color and represented their own power.

"Wow, you guys finally look beautiful now," Beldathiel said when she looked at her hideous sisters' appearances.

Everyone looked at Beldathiel and they were all stunned by her change of appearance. At first, they were confused as to who she was until they heard her voice.

"What? What's the matter?" Beldathiel asked, but then she looked down at her body and she was stunned. "Oh..." Beldathiel looked at her extremely long gold wings that nobody knew how many of them, and how the wings gleamed so brightly.

Beldathiel spread those wings of hers and they were the most majestic wings they had ever seen. They were releasing flares of white flames and they were leaving trails when she flew around. The moment the ember touched her sisters, they felt an immense amount of power run through their veins.

Everyone was so focused on Beldathiel that they forgot about Luciel who was still unconscious. When Luciel opened her eyes, she felt something soft touch her face. It was her own hair and how it glowed and how it smelled really nice, the scent that she had never smelled before.

"Luciel!" Beldathiel said the moment she saw Luciel standing up with her super long white hair.

Everyone went to check on Luciel, and the only thing that changed on her was her hair and her bright light pale skin. When they were sharing their new powers that ran through their bodies, something just flew past them, something dark and ominous.

They all turned around and saw Mara covered in wounds and that she had lost her left arm and right leg. They were still in disbelief when someone else flew past them that they didn't even know what it was.

"Aurea," Beldathiel said as she watched Mara being torn apart until there was nothing left of her except her head that was in Aurea's hand.

They watched Aurea swallow Mara's head as the Void Clouds tried to harm and stop her. Her existence was too powerful for the clouds to even bother her or annoy her. The moment Mara's existence disappeared, the clouds disappeared with her as well, and that was when she realized she felt a strong presence around her.

"This is not good," Zherlthsh said as she looked at Aurea glaring at them. "She managed to kill Mara, and that means she has become too powerful for us to bring her back to her senses. What are we going to do?" Zherlthsh asked.

"Lend me your power, my sisters," Luciel said as she walked to the front. "You can feel it too, right?" Luciel asked.

They all nodded and then put their hands on Luciel's shoulders. White feather wings appeared out of nowhere and made a cocoon to cover everyone inside. Aurea who watched it blinked and appeared right in front of the cocoon with her fist ready.

When Aurea was about to break the cocoon, a hand came out of it, a hand wearing a gauntlet with carvings on it. The hand that could stop Aurea's punch and made her unable to free her hand. The moment the wings spread open, it was strong enough to send Aurea away.

A woman wearing full-plate armor that combined Mykel's blood armor and the armor that Metatron wore. The long hair that spread on her back and thousands of colorful wings that spread widely.

"It's time to bring you back, sister," A woman wearing a helmet with only her white glowing eyes, sharp nose, and plump lips could be seen.
