Destroying My Own World

Chapter 260 The Kingdom.

Chapter 260 The Kingdom.

Mara thought that she would be able to take down Mykel or at least his creations with the power that she currently possessed. But, the fact that she bled and was covered in wounds as she fought Aurea made her think how far Mykel had prepared for this moment. The problem was that her growth and Aurea's growth were at the same pace which made it impossible for Mara to stop everyone.

She was forced and sent far away from the Kingdom and brought her down to space. She was being chased and ripped apart by Aurea, she had become prey and she was being toyed with and hunted by a beast. No matter how powerful she was and her clouds, those didn't matter in Aurea's eyes, a mere obstacle that could easily be removed. Unfortunately, she was slowly drained of her life force and she had no way of fighting back.

"Are you sure it's okay to leave her unnoticed like that?" Elena asked as she looked at Mykel. "What if she became so powerful that she can't go back?" Elena added.

"If that happens, we all should deal with her later," Mykel answered as he looked at the Void Clouds dissipating and followed where Mara went. "It's her fight, and she has been wanting to fight Mara, so let her be," Mykel continued.

Jeanne and the other landed right behind Mykel, and they were waiting for Mykel to make a move.

"Once we make it up there, there won't be any way for us to escape. There's only one way out of this, and it's if we survive or if he does," Mykel said as he looked up at the stairs. "Ready or not, we are going to meet him," Mykel continued as he took the first step up the stairs.

They took a deep breath and exhaled deeply as they watched Mykel climb the stairs. Elena was the second one who climb the stairs and then followed by Jeanne and Amaryllis.

"You know. If we lose, I just want you guys to know that I have no regrets. We have lived a life where even Gods envy us. If this is our final stop, then fuck it. Let's die together," Sven said.

"If you want to die, you should ask me to do it," Lillith said as she looked at Sven.

"It would be an honor," Sven chuckled nervously.

Lillith knew that Sven was scared and nervous, so she grabbed his hand and then dragged him up the stairs. A little push was all he needed, and so Enma and Nagy did the same to Gunnar and Gerrard.

Everyone climbed the stairs and followed Mykel with fear and anxiety, but the moment they saw Mykel's broader shoulders, and the way he casually climbed the stairs, it gave them courage. He even had the time to grab a cigarette and smoke it as he looked up fearlessly.

"Loki, Odin, this is where our journey ends," Nal said as she looked up at Mykel and the others. "We are no use in this battle, and this is their battle now," Nal continued as she summoned her throne made of ice and sat on it.

"We are the only Gods left in this whole universe. If they lost, all we have to do is to ask for his forgiveness and start a new life," Nal said so casually.

Loki glanced at Nal and she didn't like it at all, and no matter how cunning she was, she wasn't as heartless as Nal. Hera knew it was hard to digest, but Nal wasn't wrong about it, and it would be best to act neutral.

"Listen to your mother, Loki. Even if I'm weak, you both can't win against me if you two are trying to do anything funny," Nal pointed out and stared at Loki coldly as she rested her head on her left fist.

"What do you see, Nal?" Odin asked.

"I see nothing because the Law of the World has been broken the moment The Lord brought those beings from another reality. All I see is a blank and empty space," Nal answered as she looked at the sky. "One thing that I know is that the odds are against us," Nal added.

"I believe in him," Hera said as she looked at Mykel who had gone up high. "He's unlike Lucifer who's blinded by his pride. He came here not because he was blinded with pride, but because he sought a deeper understanding of himself and the world around him. The resolution in his heart made him different from the other individuals who were driven solely by ego and ambition. He has become a better version of himself," Hera continued.

"He has shifted the light as if he became the new beacon," Nal scoffed as she crossed her legs. "Who would have thought that we would be here, unafraid of The Lord? Speaking ill of him in his own place because of that guy," Nal chuckled. "You're really something, Mykel Alester," Nal squinted her eyes and saw Mykel disappear into the white clouds.

Loki couldn't say a piece of her mind to Mykel, and it made her regret not saying it earlier.

Mykel and the others finally reached the top of the stairs, and they saw a massive Kingdom in front of them. A Kingdom that could be as big as the universe itself, and the gate alone was too big for them to open.

Mykel looked at it and the gate slowly opened itself because he possessed [Supremacy] skill, he could control what The Lord could control. They all then entered and saw a massive castle in the far distance.

"So this is what a real heaven looks like?" Jeanne asked as she looked around and saw so many doors and pillars.

"Well, that's that, but we got companies," Rozan said as he looked in the distance where a giant portal appeared.

"That's the same portal where The Lord brought Lucifer and the others from another reality," Amaryllis pointed out. "You guys saw it with your own eyes how Lucifer lost to him even though he possessed The Lord's powers and boy," Amaryllis added.

Lucifer, Michael, Belphegor, Gabriel, and the other Archangels came out of the portal. They were indeed stronger than the real ones, and the fact that those were the same Archangels that defeated Lucifer made Mykel think. Mykel then snapped his fingers and closed the portal behind Lucifer because he wanted to prevent them from going back.

"They can't leave now. What about you? Can you guys handle them?" Mykel asked calmly.

"As long as they don't have the same power as Mara, we have no issues," Rozan answered as he readied his staff.

Everyone nodded in agreement and they readied their stances.

"You who defy The Lo-" Before Lucifer could finish his sentence was brought down to his knees. He was shocked by what it was but when he slowly lifted his head, he saw a massive reverse black hole that appeared right above his head.

"I'm not going to play around this time," Shelly said with a serious expression. "If you want to fight, let's fight somewhere else," Shelly continued and manipulated the force as she sent Lucifer and all the Archangels flying.

Mykel raised his eyebrows and was mildly shocked by how easy it was to send those Archangels away. He had no idea that Shelly had dethroned everyone on the chart and became the third strongest on the power chart.

Sven and all the boys went to where Shelly sent those Archangels and prevented them from coming back. The others followed them, and only Jeanne, Elena, Lyneth, and Amaryllis left that stay with Mykel.

"Mykel," Jeanne said as she approached Mykel.

When Mykel turned around, Jeanne grabbed his face and kissed him. She took her time and then slowly pulled her head away from his face.

"Be safe, and don't die," Jeanne smiled and then she flew away and went to help the others.

"I should get going as well. Edith might need me there," Lyneth said as she looked at the distance and how the whole Kingdom started to tremble because of the fight.

Mykel nodded his head and then watched Lyneth leave to give everyone support since she possessed the power that she could borrow Mykel's [Supremacy].

"Let's keep moving. It's time to meet The Lord," Mykel said.

Elena and Amaryllis nodded with understanding.
