Man, I’m already at 40. I wish there were more chapters. Maybe I should stockpile… This is the biggest problem of starting a novel with only a few chapters released but unexpectedly falling for it.
I read ahead on Kakao and I just have to say how amazing this work is. Action scenes are awesone, the characters are great, and... it's such a tearjerker too. The MC is such a pure soul that he seems quite foolish in an endearing sort of way.

I have just one thing to say, this novel is a hidden gem, it's simply great, a real breath of fresh air after reading so many medium and low level novels. It's definitely worth reading, even though I've only read the 39 chapters available, I'm sure the quality won't go downhill. I'll explain why this novel is a hidden gem. Firstly, the translation is great and of good quality, so you don't have to worry about being corrupted by mtl,. Secondly, it breaks with clichés and uses them in a completely original and interesting way. Thirdly, great world-building and an engaging plot. Fourthly, charismatic and interesting characters. The synopsis might make you shy away because it sounds like the protagonist is some kind of edgelord, but quite the opposite, his actions have a motivation behind them and her acting is outstanding. The fights are great and engaging, the progression follows a perfect rhythm and, above all, the characters' interactions with each other and with the environment are wonderful. If I were to rate the potential of this novel, it would definitely be A+ (4.6/5 with the potential for 4.8). Of course, that's just the potential. When the novel accumulates a few hundred chapters, I will redo this assessment in a more complete and concise way.
This is great I really enjoyed it, hoping it'll have a buttload of chapters when I revisit it.

Sorry, but I understand almost nothing about DnD. His personality is chaotic good, but he needs to stay in the personality created because of something that happens in the novel, then he would be more of a chaotic evil, as he would kill anything and everything that got in his way, of course, he would normally give it a few chances before doing that, but he doesn't hesitate, but as his personality is not so dark, he always tries not to reach that level and always look for an alternative path without breaking character, which makes things very interesting.

Ooooh Dungeon master tag reminds me of a recent manga I read which was Dungeon Odyssey
Decent novel I'd give it a 3 out of 5 overall. If the author hadn't decided that every single important notification from the dungeon is sent when the mc isn't paying attention to his phone and the notification gets deleted after 5 min, I would proly give it closer to a 4 out of 5 simply because the mc would be able to make smarter moves and the story would have a more meaningful start.
Yeah it’s pretty annoying how Spoilerhe’s playing the game as if it’s a causal game but it’s clearly the reason why he gained strength. Well there’s only a few chapters at this point so as long as he learns soon, the novel is still salvageable. I want him to truly become the dungeons lord/ evil god

A good and relaxing slow story. Very suitable to read in between oh-so-popular action and cultivation stories. Very well-written, so personally, I highly recommend trying it out)
Ok, I actually read it some time ago and details of the story are muddled in my head, but I just saw it again and had little rant about it in my head. I stopped somewhere around 40ish chapters too, so be advised from continuing and standart !spoiler! alert.Promising start with interesting idea, if somewhat basic: ML transmigrated into minor villain of otome game and tries escape the character's fate by eliminating his link to the game's FL - engagement. Only, FL hell bent on the opposite to ML's confussion. No wonder, as the heroine turns out to be switched too - to her time traveled future self. And FL went back not once, but twice! Her first, original timeline followed the plot of the game, her second life after time travel saw appearance of ML in villain's body. The start of they relationship was unfortunate and violent, which prompted dissolusion of the engagement as per ML wishes, but after learning about this new person and developing friendship and then feelings, FL time travels again, now with the goal to make this engagement happen, with ML non the wiser about it. All of this happens in first few chapters, setting interesting conflict of interests with two characters with significant difference in knowledge and expectation, with promise of fun comedic situations between weird couple. Good!Aaaand then ML caves in few chapters in and just decides to go with the engagement... Ok? That was first conflict setup that author just threw away. Now ML doesn't want to escape the engagement and all shenanigans revolving around FL and just goes along with it. Fantastic. To be fair, he still thinks that fate (plot) will force them apart even if ne doesn't plays his villain role, but he also not active oposser to the events anymore and that majorly changes dynamics between main characters. Oh, by the way, comedy? Yeah, how about twenty chapters of diabities inducing sweetnes with background characters gushing about two lovebirds. Great.But fine, they cute and the author throws few mildly interesting flashbacks that gives us more info about characters plus some action. Don't know what to feel about wanting more chapters about what happened then than what's happening now, but oh well.Aside that the author setup the story inside an otome game which promises additional conflicts with original cast of male characters composing FL's 'harem'. And we get first glimps of it short (huh) 30 or so shapters in with introduction of first OG ML. Would ML cave in and rethink his involement with FL after incountering someone who might potentially be FL's fate (plot) choosen partner? Is he going to fight for new path and decide to screw the plot and stick with his decision despite possible problems with other male leads? Or will first OG ML mop and be sad, only to be befriended by ML and just decide to move on with no future conflict in sight?Yeah, it's the last one. Promps to first OG ML, that seems healthy, but I don't need healthy. I need a conflict that doesn't get kicked to the curb like trash that you too lazy to even carry to the trashbin!First two setups fot possible clashes that were established at the very beggining: conflict of interests between ML and FL and conflict between wayward ML and plot choosen OG MLs whimpered and died like my carier prospects, relativelly fast and quiet painfull. And I want to be fair to the author, I only read first 40 or so chapters, and there were much more OG MLs to come and as such potential for future drama plus some other disasters peeped from flasbacks. But I also read whole 40 or so chapters and got none or too much of what I expected from characters interactions; not whole lot of comedy, barelly any conflict and too much sugar as if I didn't have enough cavities.By what point should you wait untill you drop something? I read somewhere that you need to read 50 pages before deciding it's not for you, metric that hard to judge with format of this site, but I would say I read just enough to be bored and being bored is not for me. Give it a take, maybe it's becomes good after chapter 41, but even if that's the case I still would judge it as bad pacing and writing. Take this whole thing with spoone of salt and sorry for any grammar and such mistakes. Thank you.PS. Posted it on different story first, what an embarrassment

Status in COO: 2126 chapters (completed)Review after chapter 273:TRANSLATION: The translator has done a great job but sadly most chapters are unedited and even the edited chs are filled with mistakes. It's fine for me as I've cultivated the art of MTL reading for years. I'm a veteran in reading and believe me this "wall of text"(Liners instead of paragraphs) is not the worst. I think it's because translation was done sentences wise (a technique) and chapters are also unedited. Also The translation is very slow and at this rate it'll take years for its completion lol.MAIN REVIEW: UNDERRATED. I Read this because i love Snipers. My favorite is kar-98k & AWM btw. That's why A mc who's a sniper caught my eye, read this and wasn't disappointed. The story is great. Sometimes logical and sometimes also illogical lol. Not anything revolutionary but this novel at least kills your time. The mc and characters are also decent. You should read this if you've already read pretty much everything top recommended or vice versa.The main character is a decent guy. No edgy, stupid, cringe behavior, simping etc. Doesn't shy away from difficulties. MC is a great Strategist as he was in army. He's also logical and cares about his friends. But MC is too OP so if you hate Over-powered characters, then you know what to do lol. The side characters are also ok. You might find someone annoying but don't worry author doesn't delve much deeper in any character's story arc.OVERALL a good read for me. You may like it or hate it. I'll say just enjoy the narrative if you can or find something else to read. Recommend to read this though. You'll enjoy it (a bit at least?). Take care.NEGATIVES: The dialogue is cringe sometimes, specially when mc is conversing with women lol (practice dao of ignoring to tackle it). There are plot-holes in say game's achievements or mechanics (ignore this as you ignore "millions of li of distance" in LNs lol).

Hate when a story has an editor and they still put out crap. It starts out normally then you get chapters that are one paragraph.
Sorry if my english is bas...The story could be good...I'll never know since I had to give up. You know, there's a reason paragraphs exist. The first chapters are large blocks of text without any organization, which makes reading exhausting for the eyes. In the end I had to give up my reading because of my burning eyes. It's really cool to translate novels, but if it's to do shoddy work then move on and find another job, it's frustrating to have to abandon a story because of poor text organization by a beginner.
I believe this had a manhua named "Arcane sniper"; give it a shot if u liked the concept.

A great novel, good and very enjoyable, a must read. Summary :- So let's start this Review with little talk about the world. World :- 20 Years ago people start getting Uniqe skills and getting throw in another world with a system. System currency in Karma, it doesn't matter if it's bad karma or good one. Karma in based of what changes or events you go through in another world and what was your role was in those changes. By collecting 1 Million Karma you can come back in world. At the same time you can use Karma to power up yourself. System give you 4 perks, 1 allowing you to upgrade unique skill, allow you to upgrade your stats(hp region, normal attack, defense etc), like a game repeating same thing will give you skills( all people who goes become genius cause of it) and last, stop your age as long as you stay in the world. Max time to stay in a world is 20 years, if you didn't have enough Karma by then to return you will lose your Uniqe skill, all buff from system and will age 20 years in one day as age stop will be removed and become stuck in world forever. Once you return to earth you will also lose system but still have all buff. Time difference in earth and other world is 1:10, 1 year in earth, 10 years in another world. MC :- MC is 20 years old guy who lost his parents 2 years ago and become shut-in. He got Uniqe skill avatar that allow him to create a copy of him. When he was about to send to another world he know he will die, as even with all system buff only 20% people return back to earth. He tried use his Avatar skill trying to trick system into believing his Avatar is real him so he can be safe. It works and Avatar send to another world, but MC mind can't take time difference and he cut summoning. By this he somehow trick system into believing he return to earth without system help, completing a great achievement, getting so high amount of karma and ability to travel between world he was send to, and earth. Mc is not extremely smart but he is also not stupid, so far (350 chapters) no romance has been shown, he just hide in a place and do everything using avatars so his life is never in danger, as he can cancel Avatar summoning his avatar are also not in danger unless they got one shot. ( so far only 1 avatar has died). Story wise it's very good, although most of time MC plan never fails and get what he wanted. The world building is amazing, to get karma he first create a problem and solve it later, creating a Demon King vs Hero story to get high Karma, one of MC avatar become very strong at start as demon king but he is still not the strongest as Many powerful people exist in earth, who because Hero in another world. The main point of this novel is world building as MC using his avatar explore the world, side character are not 2D and very life like with their own personality. He's not really a useless trash protagonist you'll sometimes see in a lot of light novels. He's just starting from level 1 while everyone else is level 50 or something. To make up for it, the MC levels incredibly fast and has a much better foundation than all the other reincarnators once he catches up. He even has a much higher kill count than most reincarnators despite being a crafter.One caveat you have to deal with is that the author loves to make the MC suffer and constantly throws into dangerous situations.

You reach a moment where increasing your capabilities by even 1% becomes extremely hard. At that moment equipment can allow you enter a whole new level. Not to mention a country having a grade higher crafter/enchanter than another country can mean the difference between winning or losing the war.I am tired of seeing *obviously stupid reasons for the MC to become an outcast* just for the sake marginalizing the MC.

the whole point of the countries summoning the humans and the other outsiders was because from the second they came over they would have 'awakened' or third tier skills which are like a step up from normal skills that are incredibly difficult to get. them being created at this level means that they are inherently at the level of the children of gods. the mc was summoned with completely normal crafting and echanting skills which although somewhat uncommon is completely worthless to the higher powers, they all have their various level nine enchanters or even awakened ones.. not only that but he isnt 'marginalized' he just doesnt get any offers from the kingdoms. no one laughs at him and even in the newest chapters he is hanging out with his earth friends
more like he's cursed with trash magic affinities, which ment in the begining that his enchanting is basically disabled. leveling in this book is a bit diffrent, by which I mean until you fulfilled certian conditions you can only level by doing your job, so combat classes can be power leveled but crafting classes cannot( you can't power level by comleting a craft above your level but you can do so with killing).

This leads to my main irk: Mc doesn't utilize what he has to its best. Sometimes it feels like he's letting his various abilities collect dust which is frustrating at times.

Unfortunately, I must agree in part. While there are many excellent FMCs is quite rare to find them in midst of the sea of eternally crying girls, pitiful dolls that exist just to attract the male leads (that are always full generic copy-paste of some other work character), or the 'you are a girl, so you can't' troupe.The good part is that the works with good FMCs tend to be damn amazing. To me, 'Kumo desu ga, nani ka?' and the novels from Vihyungrang (Royalroad) like Lament of the Fallen, are just amazing.
Kumo desu ga, nani ka not only did female mc really well, but they also did the male to female side character really well too rather than just make it a joke, which is always surprising. Surprise, some jokes, then acceptance and not really bringing it up too many times, like what'd realistically happen.
