Shortly after blasting Evelyn, her body plopped to the ground, and more items scattered across the ground. 

It was just a pity though that there weren't many decent items dropped this time. Nevertheless, Xu Feng wasn't polite and still yoinked them all to his inventory.

He then proceeded to lay another formation and trap—just in case of the possibility that she might try to revive herself again.

'With the cooldown timer, this should be enough.' Xu Feng clasped his hands and scanned around the perimeter. Once he confirmed no one else was nearby, he turned around and proceeded to enter the city's gate.

Nevertheless, to be cautious, Xu Feng summoned the Abyssal Phantom and had it guard around the perimeter. This Abyssal Phantom was a different variant. It would be difficult for others to even think this phantom was the same one his Lin Feng alias used. 

After all, summoned creatures through the use of items and some other skill was common knowledge. Of course, it was still inferior to the ones that the Summoner class used, but it was decent enough as a helper. 

Sometime later, Xu Feng roamed around the streets. The streets were completely desolate. 

With the imminent crisis of the siege, the regular NPCs had all either fled or remained hidden in their house. As for the combatant NPCs, they were also on the battlefield, except they operate differently than players.
