When he finally released her, he smiled and gently touched the tip of her nose, “This is the first New Year’s gift, do you like it?”
“I can’t think of a reason not to like it,” Victoria responded honestly, “But how should I thank you?”
“Passionately… Actively…” He whispered into her ear, “Just like before.”
A soft hint of his breath brushed against her skin, and Victoria felt her neck warm up.
