Shen Liangnian gently squeezed Jing Haohao’s shoulder, and Jing Haohao finally came back to her senses, hurriedly raising her wine glass, but lowered her head, not looking at Liang Chen.
After a moment, Jing Haohao raised her head, gently curved her lips, and said in a low voice, “Hello, Mr. Liang.”
Liang Chen just sat comfortably in his seat, watching the wine glasses raised by Shen Liangnian and Jing Haohao in front of him, with no intention of lifting his own wine glass.

When Jing Haohao’s fingertips began to tremble, Liang Chen finally stretched out his hand with an impassive face, picked up the wine glass on the table, gently raised it, and then drank all his wine without any regard.
While Shen Liangnian and Jing Haohao were drinking, Liang Chen’s voice, somewhat cold and indifferent, came over: “Mr. Shen, I just observed carefully and found that you and Miss Jing seem to be really well-matched.”
Such a remark made Shen Liangnian relieved about Liang Chen’s hesitation to raise his wine glass earlier. He laughed, put down his wine glass, and said: “Ah, Mr. Liang, so you’ve learned to give compliments since we last met a few months ago.”
However, Jing Haohao, standing by the side, detected sarcasm in Liang Chen’s words, causing her to pause while swallowing her wine, and then she choked on it.
Jing Haohao covered her neck, lowering her head, and spit out all the wine, feeling the burning sensation of alcohol in her throat and mouth.
Yet Liang Chen just gently curved his lips and looked at Shen Liangnian, jokingly remarking, “Mr. Shen, your girlfriend is indeed ignoring face-saving, she not only drank the wine, but also spat it all out.”
Having suppressed her cough, Jing Haohao raised her head to look at Liang Chen and apologized in a low voice, “Sorry, Mr. Liang.”
While Shen Liangnian passed a glass of water to Jing Haohao, he poured himself a glass of wine, saying, “Mr. Liang, let me toast you on behalf of Haohao for this round.”
“No need, your glass of wine can’t be compared to hers,” Liang Chen casually replied, half-jokingly.
“Okay, I’ll drink three glasses, in apology on behalf of Haohao,” Shen Liangnian said, picking up his glass from the table and draining it.
Liang Chen had no hesitation, he filled Shen Liangnian’s glass after he had finished drinking, then he poured another glass, watching Shen Liangnian finish his drink calmly before pouring him another.
After downing three glasses of baijiu, all Shen Liangnian felt was a burning sensation. He put down his glass and was about to sit down when Liang Chen poured him another glass. He then filled his own glass, raised it, and said to Shen Liangnian, “Mr. Shen, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you. We should have more drinks today.”
