When he returned to the bedroom, Jing Haohao was already asleep on the couch. Liang Chen stood there, staring at her for a while and realizing that she had lost quite a bit of weight since her departure a month ago. Surprisingly though, after staying so long in Yunnan, a region with intense UV rays, she hadn’t gotten a tan.
Liang Chen carried Jing Haohao and put her on the bed, then he went to take a bath. After that, he turned off the lights and lay down beside Jing Haohao.
Perhaps the girl was really tired, she was sleeping soundly. He laid awake, staring at the ceiling under the dim sleep lamp, but just couldn’t fall asleep.
