Chapter 491 - 491 492 Struggle (6)_1

?Chapter 491: Chapter 492: Struggle (6)_1 Chapter 491: Chapter 492: Struggle (6)_1 “Get the hell away from me–” Liang Chen vigorously shook his arm free from the grip of the nurse, sending her flying into the wall, then aside his own caution, he madly kicked and stomped around like a lunatic.

All he could think about was the image of Jing Haohao aborting their child, so much so that he had completely forgotten to call the hospital’s dean, to immediately inform the in-house team to halt the surgery.

When Liang Chen had finally exhausted all his energy from stomping around, nearly collapsing from fatigue, the heavy doors of the operating room were flung open.

Liang Chen’s legs felt weak, and as he gasped for breath, facing the white-coated doctor in front of him, he heard the person behind him speak: “After the pain from the surgery subsides, give her some medicine and tell her not to engage in strenuous activities for the first three days. She should ideally rest in bed, and she also must take good care of her body during this period. Abortion requires the same proper aftercare as a miscarriage …”
Before the doctor could finish speaking, Liang Chen, crazed, abruptly swung his arm and delivered a vicious punch to the doctor’s face.

Liang Chen gave that punch everything he had. The unsuspecting doctor staggered backwards and fell to the ground.

“Who are you to be assaulting people?”

“Quick, call security, what are you waiting for?”

The assistant doctor and anesthesiologist were taken aback by the turn of events and immediately yelled at the nurse standing outside, who was already in shock over the unfolding situation.

The nurse, suddenly jolted back to attention, quickly nodded, turned and ran toward the elevators.

But Liang Chen, as if oblivious to what others were saying, violently pounced at the chief physician who was crouching on the ground—his hand grasping his neck, while his other hand in a fist, he hammered mercilessly, targeting the doctor’s head, nose, and eyes.

Five minutes later, the security arrived.

Accompanying the security were the dean and directors of the hospital who had been alerted by the chaos.

The dean recognized Liang Chen and glancing at his bruised employee, dared not voice his anger, instead asked with a forced smile: “Mr. Liang, what seems to be the problem?”

Liang Chen stood gloomily, shaking off his clothes, shot the dean a glance and was about to speak, when he saw a woman exiting the operating room.

Liang Chen instinctively looked at her, and then froze in place.

It wasn’t Jing Haohao…

He furrowed his brows, his sharp eyes darted toward the dean: “Who performed Jing Haohao’s surgery?”

The dean immediately turned to the director of obstetrics and gynecology: “Why are you still standing there? Hurry up and find out!”

The director of the department nodded shakily and gave his subordinates a signal. No more than half a minute later, a nurse, keeping her distance from Liang Chen, said, “Miss Jing did indeed come for an abortion, but for some unknown reason, she turned around and ran away before entering the operating room. She then asked a doctor for some Mifepristone and left the hospital.”

Mifepristone?

A frown appeared on Liang Chen’s forehead. So Jing Haohao hadn’t undergone the abortion surgery; she had chosen a medical abortion instead?

He abruptly turned his head and stared at the nurse, asking, “When did she leave after getting her medicine?”

“Less than five minutes ago.”

Before the nurse could finish her sentence, Liang Chen glared menacingly at the row of obstetricians standing aside. “You’d better pray that she hasn’t taken the medicine. If anything happens to the child in her belly, I swear I’ll bring down this hospital!”
