Fearing that Jing Haohao might be lost in thought, Liang Chen reached out, took her hand, and followed the waiter into the booth.
Jing Haohao had heard about this Nanjing cuisine restaurant but had never been there before. Liang Chen seemed to come here often, he didn’t even glance at the menu, and ordered all of their signature dishes.

In their booth, quiet Kunqu melody played in the background, the soft sounds came in altering tones, adding a relaxed note to the ambiance.
Jing Haohao and Liang Chen didn’t have much conversation, but the atmosphere was harmonious. Halfway through the meal, Jing Haohao stood up to use the restroom.
Upon exiting the booth, the Kunqu music was noticeably louder. She followed the vintage-style corridor to the end, and turned into the restroom indicated by the straw hat symbol.
A Feng Shui fountain positioned at the restroom door made a constant water-flow sound.
The restroom was quiet, not many people were around, and there wasn’t a need to wait. Jing Haohao left quickly, and as she went to wash her hands by the public sink, she saw a man vomiting.
Without a second glance, she walked out. But hadn’t taken more than a couple of steps when she heard a voice behind her, “Jing Haohao?”
Jing Haohao turned around in surprise. It was the chubby man she had bumped into when she entered the restaurant, causing her to frown involuntarily.
Seeing Jing Haohao turn around, the man quickly walked towards her. With a surprised look he said, “Miss Jing, it really is you!”
“Who are you?” Jing Haohao asked with confusion.
“Miss Jing, don’t you remember me? My name is Sun Yan. We met at a dinner party at TS Entertainment Company a little over half a year ago.” Seeing Jing Haohao’s blank expression, the man introduced himself with a warm smile, “It’s been more than half a year, it’s normal that you don’t remember me.”
Sun Yan… Jing Haohao found the name slightly familiar. Giving it some thought, she realized he was also in the entertainment industry, had acted in two or three movies, but none were particularly successful.
She only met him once, indeed at a dinner party… he said he hoped they could cooperate in the future, and handed her a glass of wine, which she accepted without refusal.
Seeing that Jing Haohao was silent but not angry, Sun Yan still wore his flattery smile, and said: “Miss Jing, the person who came here with you tonight, is it Mr. Liang?”
