?Chapter 301: Chapter 302: Tenderness (4)_1 Chapter 301: Chapter 302: Tenderness (4)_1 It took a while, but eventually, Jing Haohao’s crying started to fade. Then, Liang Chen gently lifted his hands and began patting her on the back, as if comforting a child. “I know you feel wronged and upset,” he said. “You didn’t mean to hit Qiao Wennuan, but it just happened. Don’t worry, I won’t stand by and let you be bullied. Just wait for the right moment, I promise I’ll take revenge for you!”

“Okay, stop crying now. Look, it’s three in the morning. Others are in dreamland, dating Duke Zhou. We shouldn’t waste our beauty sleep on such insignificant people.”

As Liang Chen spoke, he slightly pulled away from Jing Haohao. Seeing her face smeared with tear stains, he said, “Look at your face, you’ve been crying like a little kitten. Go wash your face quickly. You’ve been crying for so long, you must be tired. Go to sleep as soon as possible.”

Jing Haohao’s face turned a little red at Liang Chen’s words. She pushed him away and prepared to get off the bed, but the next second Liang Chen was pulling her arm, dragging her underneath him: “Look, I spent half the night here listening to your crying. You can’t just leave like this. Give me a little reward. It’s not too late to wash up later.”

Having said this, Liang Chen slightly turned his face to the side.

Jing Haohao knew what he wanted – a kiss from her. She bashfully cast down her eyes, then gently raised her chin, and with a quick dragonfly-like touch, she kissed his cheek. Then, she strongly pushed him away and, not even bothering with shoes, rushed into the bathroom.

Liang Chen rolled onto his back as she pushed him, watching her quickly disappear. He couldn’t help but let a smile grace his lips, then raised his hand and gently touched the spot on his cheek where her lips had brushed before. The place still tingled a bit from the contact.

After the car accident incident, Liang Chen directly ordered his assistant to arrange another driver for Jing Haohao the next day.

Jing Haohao had finished up with set work and did not need to go outside. The shock of the accident had left her with no desire to leave the house, so she just stayed in the villa all day long.

With the coming of the Spring Festival, the villa’s staff became busy. They began deep cleaning the house, replacing some old items with new ones. The whole process took about four to five days.

The staff were busy without a break, while Jing Haohao took it easy, snugly tucked away in her room watching movies.

The last room the staff cleaned was the bedroom of Jing Haohao and Liang Chen. Early in the morning, Nanny Lin came in with a large stack of catalogs.

Jing Haohao was already up, squatting in front of the TV cabinet browsing for a movie she had not seen yet. Hearing the knock, she stood up and saw Nanny Lin cheerily walking towards her with the catalogs. “Miss Jing,” Nanny Lin explained, “these are the items Mr. Chen and you need replaced in your room. Mr. Chen asked me to bring them to you so you could pick out what you like.”

Curious, Jing Haohao walked over and sat down on the couch. She casually flipped open a catalog and saw that it was full of all sorts of curtains. Jing Haohao browsed through it, choosing three sets of her favorite designs for each of the four seasons.

Next up were beddings, bathrobes, pajamas, clothes, and the like. Like the curtains, these items offered choices for each season, in a multitude of styles and colors.
