?Chapter 159: Chapter 160 Quarrel (3)_1 Chapter 159: Chapter 160 Quarrel (3)_1 Nanny Lin had barely finished speaking when she noticed an unusually gloomy expression on Liang Chen’s face and promptly stepped aside in fear.

Liang Chen walked past her without even a glance, heading straight into the room.

Only after the door closed did Nanny Lin approach the car to open the door for Jing Haohao. “Miss Jing.”

Jing Haohao seemed not to hear her, continuing to stare blankly without responding.

Nanny Lin waited for a while, then reached out to gently touch Jing Haohao.

Jing Haohao turned her head as if greatly startled. Her eyes were wide, and she looked at Nanny Lin for a long time before finally asking in a soft voice, “What is it?”

Only then did Nanny Lin notice the paleness of Jing Haohao’s face, which was somewhat frightening. Nanny Lin grabbed Jing Haohao’s hand, found it chillily cold, even terrifying, she immediately asked anxiously, “Miss Jing, what’s happened? Do you feel unwell? Should I call a doctor for you?”

Jing Haohao shook her head: “I’m fine.”

Her voice was as gentle and calm as usual, but Nanny Lin caught a trace of indefinable sorrow in Jing Haohao’s tranquility.

After Jing Haohao finished speaking, she glanced around, realized that they had arrived home, she whispered again, “Are we home?”

Then she stepped out of the car.

The chassis of the car was high, but Jing Haohao stepped out as if she hadn’t noticed. Fortunately, Nanny Lin quickly caught her, preventing her from falling to the ground.

“Thank you,” Jing Haohao said to Nanny Lin before turning to walk towards the house.

Seeing Jing Haohao walking in such a daze, Nanny Lin couldn’t bear it. She quickly closed the car door, followed Jing Haohao inside, and carefully accompanied her up the stairs.

As Nanny Lin opened the door for Jing Haohao, Liang Chen happened to be coming out of the bathroom wearing a bathrobe.

Upon seeing Liang Chen, Nanny Lin respectfully called out, “Mr. Chen.”

Liang Chen didn’t respond to Nanny Lin, his eyes falling directly on Jing Haohao.

Seeing this, Nanny Lin immediately stepped back, gently closed the door, and left.

Liang Chen stared at Jing Haohao for a while, then turned and walked to the wine cabinet. He poured himself a glass of red wine and began to drink slowly.

Jing Haohao stood at the door for a while before following him inside. She sat on the couch, staring silently into the pitch-black night outside the window.

Liang Chen downed his wine in one gulp and then looked at Jing Haohao. He suddenly chuckled and asked, “Why aren’t you on your phone today?”

Jing Haohao didn’t react at all to Liang Chen’s words. She didn’t even spare him a glance.
