Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity

Chapter 172: Sacred Land Territory

Chapter 172: Sacred Land Territory

"Huuuu"

Taking a huge breath of air, a pair of eyes snapped open atop a mountain peak. These pair if eyes contained, shock and a sort of bitter disbelief.

"Those brats!!!"

The owner of those eyes spat out. He was currently on a loosely fitted robe seated atop a mountain top looking down like a god. One would think this feeling waw the most thrilling, but what he had just gone through was insanely painful.

Death, no matter which body was excruciating.

"Ronah, come here!!" The man called out with eyes filled with annoyance.

And out of nowhere, another individual appeared behind him in a kneeling position. Clearly these two were not of the same status.

"There’s a little bastard monk with a charred skull that’ll try and pass the Great Wall, send a message out.....if anyone sees him, I’m to be notified immediately" the man instructed his subordinate. He had promised the lightening monk that if he were to kill his body then he wouldn’t spare any effort to kill him when he came to the central continent.

"Yes Sire!!" the subordinate first shook his head in pity before responding to the conmand.

Morgrath was one of the most ruthless figures in finor world. Who would be so stupid and get on his bad side like this?

"So? Get on with it!!!"Morgrath barked and like the wind, his subordinate disappeared into thin air.

He wasn’t just pissed about the lightening monk. There was also the case with the mysterious kid that stole the Grimoire.....years of work sent down the drain in a matter of seconds.

He couldn’t be more annoyed.

Undergod territory.

A troop of about 300 men rode through a stoney desert area enmass. They were very close to the border area.

"Well stop at the valley over there!!" The man in charge ordered his men to slow down as they were approaching their target.

These guys were Ben Yoel and the rest.

"Neigh"

"Neigh"

"Neigh"

Not too long after, they reached their destination and stopped their advancement slowly.

"No no brother leon, you saved my children, I have to show gratitude at least." Bowing slightly bej Yoel spoke.

If not for Leon saving Aron and Zane, they might have not even gotten into the city, talk less of saving his kids. He had to show gratitude.

"But isn’t this too much? They are your brothers after all" Leon shook his head.

Ben Yoel had attached to him 15 warlocks from his gang, a bulk load of supplies and horses for his Journey into the sacred land. It was too much

"No, not at all. These are my men, my brothers. My debt is theirs and you are my benefactor so you are their benefactor. They will serve you Willimgly" Ben Yoel went futher to explain.

There was a need to keep the ties between Leon and him. He couldn’t quite understand, but there was something special about Leon that he couldn’t place his hand on.

"Sigh, okay then I must thank you" Seeing that Ben would not let up Leon finally gave in.

He needed the manpower anyway.

A few minutes later, Leon now accompanied with 17 other people made their way through the valley and into the scared land territory.

But something told them that they would be back soon enough.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

"Boss, we got some new arrivals"

Inside an outpost at the edge of the valley, a set of armed guards could be seen. They were having a leisure relax, but the aura they emitted was insanely scary.

"Sigh, the sacred land is gonna be filled up at this rate" the head guard complained.

During the past few days, they had seen a multitude of warlocks fleeing to the Sacred land. Everyone was afraid. The mages were going too far with the cleansing efforts.

In fact, rumor had it that some powers from the sky Palace territory had sent their men into the Undergod territory to kidnap and, or kill warlocks.

"Let’s go Meet them"

Even though the population of the sacred land was raising fast, they had no choice. This was a problem from the clan heads of the various clans.

The sound of Leon’s horse hooves hitting the ground resounded as he made his through the valley.

From eldoria, to Undergod territory and now finally he was at the sacred land heading to blood Rock. It was indeed a long journey.....but he would soon get there.

"Hold!!!" After the got to a certain point a voice sounded from the sky as four individual level 3 warlocks fells from the sky and landed infront of their troop.

"Hmp!!!" Seeing this scene, one of the 15 men given to Leon rode led the a charge forward and created a perimeter.

This guy was called wolf, actually, about 5 of them were called wolf. These guys weren’t originally part of the Blackwater gang.

They were criminals Ben Yoel set free after raiding a taravan, normally warlocks weren’t traded in the Undergod territory....so easily, so he was quite surprised to see these guys.

He took a liking to them though, they were sharp and precise and made for excellent executioners and punishers. He almost didn’t want to let them go, but they insisted as they, like Leon were warlocks.

"Brothers, why have you blocked our way?" Leon rode his horse forward and asked. Showing that he was incharge here.

"Tell your men to lay down their arms first, this is Steel Turtle clan territory" one of the heavily armoured guards directed.

They were incharge of this region, as such they had the responsibility to check whomsoever wanted to pass through it.

"But them down boys" Leon waved causally.

Ben Yoel wasn’t greedy, amongst the men he gave to Leon 5 were at level 2 beginner stage. The strength of a division captain of the gang.

This meant that he had hand picked from his own person guard. It was impressive.

"Hmmm"

Responding to Leon’s command they immediately put down their weapons as they were asked.

"So you’re in charge....." confirming that Leon was indeed the one incharge of these men the head guard nodded and panned around the group.

There were 18 individuals here, 16 were warlocks from different clans and 2 seemed to be mages. To the Naked eyes this would seem normal.

But he was a level 3 warlock, he could tell that these two mage girls had the group overpowered. They might be spies.

"What’s with the mages" he didn’t hesitate to ask. It concerned the safety of the scared land.

Even if he needed to offend Leon he would ask.

"Them? They are my wives, any problem?" Leon looked over at Arian and Ember and spoke as if what he had said was only natural.

This prompted Arian to blush....but as for Ember, she didn’t seem to care.

"Ahhh? I see" the head guard nodded slowly

It was normal in the sacred land for big shots to have them a couple mage slaves as their playthings....but these two were level 3 mages? Was this kids appetite that big?

"What clan are you from it I may ask" the head guard couldn’t hold back his curiosity. He could tell that Leon was a warlock from the aura he released. At their stage it was quite hard to hide race.

But as for which specific clan? That was much harder ti find out, especially with Leon’s modified eyes.

"BloodSerpent clan" Leon said causally.

There was no reason to hide in Leon’s opinion, that is, unless they were in enemy clan territory.

Which of course Leon didn’t believe was the case here. What kind of beef would they have with the iron turtle clan?

"Hmmm? Really?" The head guard frowned. The BloodSerpent clan had a few prominent talents and were well known even in blood Rock..unfortunately he had no idea who this kid wad....

But this kid was maybe 17 and at level 3....it made sense that he was a talent of the BloodSerpent clan.

"You may pass"

After a brief moment of observation, The head guard came to the conclusion that they weren’t a threat and let them pass.

However, he did give them a sound warning before they left.

"Just keep going, forward no detours, your clan has alot of enemies"

The BloodSerpent clan had enemies, just like every other clan in warlock society. But it seemed like they BloodSerpent clan had made a particularly irritable one during the past few years.

And Leon was about to find out who exactly hated their clan so much.

"Sigh!!! I wish I had that kind of talent" watching Leon and his troop leave the head guard pulled his helmet revealing the face of an incredibly old man.

Not everyone was as talented as Leon. Often more that not, they wouldn’t even get the chance to enter level 3 talk less of surpass it.

Leon here had that chance.

"Don’t put yourself down boss, let’s go get a drink" one of the guards offered.

"Don’t worry about it. I’m okay..." the old guard dismissed the idea and flew away. Blissful thinking was meant for the younger generation, not him.
