Chapter 102: Reunion? I think not!!
Chapter 102: Reunion? I think not!!
Inside the undercity.
A carriage could be seen moving slowly along the streets of the undercity heading towards the center of the city.
After Leon beat Draven, Bartholomew announced him as the 16th prodigy of the warlocks in duan city and the first in the Blood Serpent clan.
A declaration like that, from a level 4 warlock, was to be taken seriously. Plus, Leon had beaten one of the 30 sky mages of duan city. He earned this position.
It would soon spread like wildfire, the warlocks had added a new talent to their roaster.
Of course, Leon himself wasn’t concerned about this as much. He got what he wanted, and it was seating right here on his lap.
[
Ding
Nova daze spell.
This was a spell that was inherit for possessors of the lumisight Eyes. It allowed the users to temporarily pull their opponents into an illusionary space scape. Keeping them in a daze for as long as their will power could last.

(This will definitely be useful... )
Leon smirked evilly, he could only think of what he could do with that brief moment. If the opponent was too strong, he would simply run away....or he could directly kill...
There were so many possibilities.
"There’s someone in the house"
While Leon was in a daze, Bartholomew commented, causing Leon to frown. Someone in the house? Of course there were, Arian was there and so was gunta, not to talk about the other level 3 warlocks.
But of course, for someone like Bartholomew to be worried, there had to be a reason.

Bartholomew and the others walked through the gates and proceeded to go towards the main dojo room.

They opened the door and looked inside. There about 6 men, 1 young lady and 1 young girl could be seen sitting around.
These people could easily be identified by Leon. There was Arian, gunta, the winged devil and four other warlocks.
The strange thing was.....there was another mage in this room other than Arian.....it was a man in his 40s with blonde luscious hair and a dirty outfit.
"Blizzard Wind, Asher" Bartholomew stared at this man with a calm expression on his face.
"Sir Blue Devil" the man smiled bitterly, almost bowing his head to Bartholomew.
Even though he was young, Bartholomew was a celebrated level 4 warlock in the entire kingdom. At least that was before the incident.
"There’s no need for that, You’re a level 4 mage now, your status is the same as I….plus you’re older" Bartholomew waved his hand indicating that there was no need for such pleasantries.
The person in front of him was the newest addition to the level 4 mages in duan City
"Hmmmm"
At the same time, Leon had his hand on his chin and was comparing the looks of two people in the room.
"Ahhhh don’t tell me???" Coming to a sudden realization, a look of surprise appeared on his face.
He hadn’t noticed it at first, but the resemblance between Arian and this man was indistinguishable. Apart from her hair turning white, Arian looked very much like him. That’s right, this was the disgraced knight.
Arian’s father.

"Before you complained, I was hoping to apologize about what happened in the tunnel system not far from here"
Asher said while holding up a cup of tea in his hand. They were currently seated on the floor facing each other.
Leon, Arian, Bartholomew, and Asher.
"Oh yes, I just heard about it a few minutes ago. No worries though, it’s being cleared up already." Bartholomew said causally.
The disgraced knight Asher was speaking about the incident in the tunnel a few days ago. He had attacked the dalriss family envoy and ended up getting into a fight with the marquee that saw the demolition of the tunnel.
Those tunnels were the lifeblood of the warlocks, without them there would be no supply of food to the undercity so they were actually very important....him destroying them was actually a form of provocation that could rile up, the warlocks in the undercity.
"I am happy then" Asher smiled. Even a brief tussle between level 4 mages could leave devastation beyond the control of most people.
But he had no choice, Alaric and the dalriss family had caused him so much pain. Not only did they take away his family, they destroyed the soul of his wife and tagged his daughter as a wanted criminal.
He had to get his revenge.
"So.....she’s your daughter, huh?" Bartholomew turned to Arian and asked. The girl had white hair, but her facial features gave her away.
"Yes, she is" Asher responded hesitantly. Arian still didn’t like him very much, but she was his daughter at the end of the day. Flesh and blood.
"Okay, Boy, have some etiquette and pay respects to your father-in-law" Bartholomew laughed loudly causing the entire atmosphere to become silent.
"...."
"...."
"...."
(This guy....)
Leon shook his head. Bartholomew was fond of getting people into trouble with his mouth…was there a reason for the sudden outburst? No, Bartholomew was just being an asshole
"Oh....." Asher looked at Arian and frown. Was Arian with this warlock boy sitting beside them? When did that happen?
He had been away so long that he couldn’t even see his daughter grow up, and now she had a man? That was too disheartening.
"Too much talk is not needed, you can see I’m fine, so maybe it’s time for you to leave" Arian said firmly. She was planning to just silently watch him until he left, but now that Bartholomew was speaking about who was who’s father-in-law. She decided that it was best to chase away her old man. Least, he began placing himself in what didn’t have anything to do with him.
"Calm down Arian, if you are going to get into anything I should be aware…." Arian’s father, Asher, tried to insert himself into the situation, but was quickly shot down by her cold eyes.
He didn’t have the right to say anything. He was a bad parent that forced them to abandon him due to his actions. Likewise, he didn’t deserve them….at least that was what they had convinced themselves of.
"Nevermind, we will talk about it later....." Asher said. He wouldn’t force things, Arian was prideful, he knew that going too far would prompt a reaction. He had to take it slow.
"You’re welcome to stay as long as you want" Bartholomew after a brief few seconds said.
Asher was the only unaffiliated level 4 existence in Duan city....in fact in a sense he hated the dalriss family which was a marquees family and a huge part of the mages. If he could convince, and draw him to their side.....
"Okay, I’m going to my room" after giving Bartholomew a cold glance, Arian stood up and walked off. It was his house, he could have whomsoever he wanted to have over, she was but a guest.
"Thank you sir blue devil" Asher was thankful, at least he would be able to stay here for a while and get to know what was happening in Arians life.
(Interesting)
With eyes filled with curiosity, Leon stared at Asher for a long period of time.

2 days later
"Whenever you need anything just come to the undercity and find us….if we can help we will help" outside the dojo Liana said to Leon who was standing in front of a normal carriage.
"You don’t have to bother too much about us." Leon looked at Liana. He came here to learn about his bloodline and what is meant to be a blood serpent. He had achieved not only that but, also a lot more.
He had gotten to meet a level 4 warlock, one of the strongest existences in the city right now.
He had gotten spells for his bloodline. And a special set from the matriarch herself.
Then there was the matter of him becoming the 16th Prodigy of the warlock clans. Even though he didn’t want it, this reputation had its uses…Leon would make use of them appropriately.
"Hmm" Liana nodded.
"Also, take care of gunta here, when next we meet I hope you’ve become stronger"
Liana had ultimately decided to teach Gunta all she knew. Even though she really wanted it to be Leon, she really didn’t have a choice.
"Good luck" Liana wished Leon and Arian Good luck as they set off towards the tunnels of the undercity.
During the past few days, Arians father had pissed her off on several occasions, leading to her damaging several parts of Bartholomew’s house.
Bartholomew was a very hot-blooded person, but he didn’t say anything. The environment was annoying though, so when the time came, they were very relieved….
Of course, that wasn’t the only reason they were leaving. Leon had all he needed essentially, just a few preparations to be made then he would be able to complete the ’mission’ from the sorcerer.
