Muria examined the pile of metallic debris before the Swordsman, recognizing here and there what seemed to be rings, amulets, necklaces and other adornments. The remaining Spirit Runes confirmed that these were all defensive equipment.

The equipment seemed to be of high-level, possibly of legendary level, a realisation which made Muria’s heart ache slightly. All these legendary pieces of equipment were now nothing more than a pile of junk.

“The Space Ring is still intact.” Ron, the Swordsman, rummaged through the pile of metal fragments and brought out a tarnished ring to adorn his finger. “My gear may be destroyed, but I am still alive, everything lost can be reclaimed.”

All the legendary armour had been destroyed, yet the Space Ring had survived? Muria was stunned for a moment, then realised that under the attack of Titan Yashiburn, all the defensive equipment had been activated to sustain the attack along with the Swordsman.

The Space Ring was an exception, as it contained most of Ron’s personal property, which meant that during the attack it had been protected. As the ring was so small, it ended up being the only piece of equipment that remained unscathed.
