However, he never expected these individuals to be so relentless to an unbelievable degree. Moreover, they were not all part of the same group; they were assassins from all over the world, and their communication was not well-coordinated. This led to a situation where as soon as he eliminated one group of pursuers, another would quickly appear.

This situation greatly frustrated him.

However, it seemed that William was also monitoring the situation on Connor's end. The Risu law enforcement agencies had also noticed these developments, but they chose not to intervene since they knew this was related to Blood Shadow and turned a blind eye to it.
