More such notifications continued to pop up in Rakim's vision instantly waking him up from his sleepy state. He had just laid down after spending the rest of the day celebrating with the team. The coach ended up treating the whole team to Pizza Hut. This quickly turned into round two of the celebrations with Rakim and his family only getting from around 10 pm.

Sitting up on his bed he ran one of his hands through Zeus's fur as he started scanning the notifications. They had been on mute earlier due to Eva being considerate of his environment. However, now that he was finally alone and ready to relax the system decided to bother him.

He let out a long sigh, a mixture of exhaustion and contentment filling him. The notifications were a welcome reminder of his achievements, but at the moment, he longed for peace. He still decided to check it out knowing he wouldn't be able to fall asleep without checking out his rewads. He tapped in the air and asked Eva to summarise the list to make things easier for him.

'Dang, are you sure you're not glitching Eva' Rakim inwardly asked her as he couldn't believe just how lucrative the system rewards were. {No glitches these are your deserved rewards after a season of exceptional performances,} she told me wasting no time in explaining why I got the rewards I did.

With the system's goal being to turn him into a singularity in the football world, the rewards for personal honours are more lucrative. For instance, if he became an MVP or top scorer in a tournament, the system would award him more than if he helped his team win the league. He could easily guess that he would get more system rewards for adopting a more selfish playstyle.

A selfish forward is not necessarily a bad player if their goal conversion ratio remains high. Every successful forward like R9, CR7, Messi and Thierry Henry tended to be selfish at times. However, no one ever complained as they used their skills to create a surplus of goals for their teams.

So following this reasoning, the system was clearly pushing him to improve his abilities while also encouraging him to win more individual accolades. Maybe, that was the fastest way to reach the top of the footballing world. He was sure of his conjecture after seeing the rewards he received for the season MVP accolade.

'Eva' he called out in his mind while glancing at the interface. "I would like to consume the A-graded Agility and Balance Elixer.' He inwardly told her not willing to waste a second letting his elixer acumulate dust.

Not a second later he heard the familiar Ding sound of the system, [Command received,] the system AI replied. Not a second later blueberry with a golden A inscribed on it appeared in his right hand. It pulsed with a subtle glow reminiscent of a heartbeat but didn't attract much attention from the canine next to Rakim.

"Let's do this," he mumbled as he swallowed it in a single gulp closing his eyes to ready himself for what was to come. What followed was what he pretty much expected. A refreshing feeling spread from his stomach and washed over his entire body. Then, a tingling sensation spread across his spine and extended toward his mind.

He swallowed hard as his muscles started to spasm, causing Zeus sleeping next to him to sit up alertly. However, he didn't bark since his owners paid sounds couldn't be voiced due to the systems influence. In the need, he just looked at him oddly before laying his head down and returning to dreamland.

Rakim didn't mind him though as before he could adapt, his eyes rolled backwards, and everything turned dark. The elixir had caused him to black out falling into dreamland without any awareness of what was around him. His dreams were surprisingly peaceful despite the changes his body was going through.

The following morning Rakim was awoken by the sound of his alarm that he had forgotten to turn off. Not wanting to let go of oh so sweet sleep he tried his best to ignore the annoying bussing and ringing. However, Zeues couldn't ignore the annoying ringing and started barking at the alarm clock.

Ignoring them proved hard especially when the German shepherd decided to charge at the clock. The next thing Rakim heard was his beeping clock shattering upon impact. "Alright, alright, I'm up," Rakim groaned, forcing himself to sit up. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes, trying to shake off the lingering fatigue.

Zeus was the first thing that met his eyes wagging his tail, looking proud of his work. Shatter bits of what was once a football clock lay at his feet but he did not mind. Moreover, he looked at his owner with a look that asked for praise for defeating the noisy enemy.

Ignoring him Rakim stretched, feeling a strange lightness in his limbs, Not just that his subtle movements felt faster. Either the elixir must have done its job or the accumulated work ethic has led to a breakthrough. Going through his morning yoga routine at the side of his bed he felt his muscles cooperating much easier.

When he was done he moved on to the bathroom, glancing at himself in the mirror. He didn't look much different, but his muscles now looked like they contained more power despite a balanced distribution. He now looked more agile, without sacrificing his power and explosiveness.

"Dang no wonder I feel so much lighter," Rakim mumbled to himself after seeing his speed and agility stats move up to the A Grade. Good thing the season was over giving him enough time to adjust to this boost in skills.

'Too bad these stats are only for the under-16 category,' He lamented after realising that he still has a lot of work to do if he wants to reach the next stage. His goal was to surpass the under-16 categories by the age of 13 better known as the amateur and low semi-pro level. Hopefully, by the time he turns 17, he will have surpassed the semipro and under-23 level.

Those major stages in a footballer's career are something every footballer has to surpass. However, if he wants to become a singularity he has to overcome that as fast as possible. The truly great young stars are ready to make an impact on the main stage at age 16.

The likes of Musiala, Yamal, Haaland, and Mbappe were ready to compete at a young age. With a goal set, He hopped in for a quick shower, ready to work hard and improve his game.
