Destroying My Own World

Chapter 271 Tough decision.

Chapter 271 Tough decision.

Nal didn't know what else to say, and no matter how hard she thought about it, the reason that The Lord gave them made sense. She then let Beldathiel decide whether she agreed to The Lord's plan or not and she was the only one who could make a change.

"If you destroyed those realities, Little Mykel would disappear. Everything that we have prepared to fight him will be gone as well," Luciel said as she looked at Beldathiel. "On the other hand, if we don't do it, we're all going to disappear because Elena can't fight forever," Luciel pointed out.

Beldathiel looked at Loki and she could see that Loki didn't want that to happen. Not only did Loki have to let go of her son, but she also had to let her son disappear and she couldn't take that.

Hera and Lyneth knew how unfair it was for Loki, but they both knew it would be best for themselves. They both tried to talk to Loki and let her think about what was best for her since losing a mother was worse than losing a child.

"A child can be made again, but the mother can't," Nal said as she stared at Loki. "You can ask these men. Would they let go of their women or let go of their child," Nal looked at Gunnar, Sven, Gerrard, and the others.

"You don't have to ask the men for this because the fact none of us will survive if we don't do it. Mykel would be the only thing that exist, and how painful it would be when he found out he killed everyone. I don't want Mykel to suffer alone," Jeanne pointed out as she looked at Loki.

"You need to understand as well that if we don't do it. Your son will suffer, just like Mykel," Aurea added and tried to convince Loki with the truth. "If Mykel survives this, you can ask him to make more of them later," Aurea continued.

The Lord listened to their conversation and he noticed how those people in front of him were so complicated. If the Archangels were the ones who decided about what action they should take, all of them would immediately agree to save him. It was fascinating to watch how Mykel could create such beings that had their own consciousness and yet they were loyal to him.

"We don't have much time," The Lord said as he stood up. "The darkness is emerging and you have to decide whether to do it or not," The Lord added.

"The choice is yours, Belda..." Loki said heavy-heartedly with her eyes closed. "I won't blame you or would I have a grudge for what you're going to do," Loki continued.

Everyone looked at Beldathiel and waited for her decision since it was in her hand now.

"How many realities out there?" Beldathiel asked The Lord.

"They're close to infinite, but it can be stopped as the other realities would come to an end really soon," The Lord answered as he looked in the distance. "Elena from the other realities is struggling right now. Once they're dead, all of the realities will look into your reality, seeing the bright light that Elena has. They will try to crossover and take her away," The Lord continued.

Amaryllis realized that Elena from the other realities didn't have the same skills as what the real Elena had. They wouldn't be able to defeat Mykel and his powerful skill that would defeat them in no time.

"So you want us to let them die first and let the other Mykel sense Elena's power so they could connect their realities to our reality?" Amaryllis asked.

"Precisely, and that will be when she has to do it. She has to shatter and destroy those realities," The Lord answered as he walked down. "Will it be possible? The answer is yes, and she already knows the answer to that as well," The Lord looked at Beldathiel who was still trying to make up her mind.

"I'll do it, but how would we know when the time is right?" Beldathiel asked and she looked anxious because if she failed, there wouldn't be a second chance.

"You should ask Elena for that. I don't want to risk opening my reality against the darkness that exists out there. Even I am afraid of this situation," The Lord answered. "I will buy you time as I will handle the darkness that has been lurking in my world. Good luck," The Lord continued and then disappeared to deal with his own shadow.

Amaryllis decided to send her clones one by one to check the situation in their world. As long as there was one Amaryllis that existed, she could clone herself infinitely.

"I have sent my clones, you all can look from the panel," Amaryllis said as she opened a panel for everyone to see.

They were dumbfounded when they saw the whole universe had been turned into a place covered in realities. The universe looked like a room filled with windows where everything showed the same thing, the battle between Elena and Mykel.

"Where is she?" Lyneth asked with a worried expression as she looked at the panel.

Amaryllis had a hard time finding Elena because a single reality existed in every inch of the universe. She had to go as far as she could and it was trippy to look at until she could see the abyss in the far distance.

The moment Amaryllis got close to the abyss, she died before she knew it and the panel lost its signal. She then immediately brought multiple clones of her and sent them to where her first clone died.

The panel received the signal again and that was when they saw how unworldly the fight was. They couldn't see a single thing, but they could see realities appearing everywhere. They couldn't tell who was winning because they couldn't keep track of what was going on.

When they were trying to focus on what was going on, the signal disappeared again. The truth was Amaryllis' clones weren't killed by Elena or Mykel, but the clashing of [Renewal] and [Abyss] skills erased everything that existed. No matter what it was, if they existed in the first place there, they would disappear and would be reborn, renewed.

"It's impossible to get anything if I'm too close. We might be fine if we just stay away from the fight, but we wouldn't know if the fight is close or not since we can't detect them at all," Amaryllis pointed out as she kept sending her clones.

"If you said it like that, looks like we won't be able to protect ourselves if we get unlucky. That would be a problem for Belda since she has to be there and who knows how long it would take for her to destroy those realities," Nal hummed as she rubbed her cheek to think of a way to solve the problem.

"We haven't tested it out and you're already that confidence that she could destroy a single reality?" Odin looked at Nal and was surprised she missed the important thing.

"That's why I said that in the first place. We need to make sure she doesn't die when she's testing out the skill," Nal answered as she shook her head in disappointment.

"That won't be a problem. I can protect myself," Beldathiel said as she flapped her wings. "Can you send me back there? I'll let you guys watch as I try to destroy one of the realities," Beldathiel added as she looked at everyone.

Amaryllis nodded her head and opened the crack in the air, and then Beldathiel entered without hesitation. Amaryllis then closed the crack before it attracted the darkness from that world which would trigger it from getting stronger and more ambitious.

Beldathiel could see the realities around her, like a small TV as big as her palm. She looked at how Elena from that reality started to lose the fight and got badly injured.

When she wanted to destroy that reality, she saw something that made her hesitate. She saw herself, Jeanne, and the others come to help Elena stop Mykel. She watched how they were overwhelmed by Mykel's power and how they risked their lives to bring Mykel back.

Everyone saw what Beldathiel saw, and none of them blinked their eyes when they saw their other self disappear. They watched themselves desperately fight Mykel and tried to be of use to Elena, but they didn't stand a chance.

Anger, sadness, frustration, and desperation could be seen on their faces. They were yelling and trying to bring Mykel back to his senses, but the reply was their own death. They kept watching until they saw themselves lost hope and accepted that they had lost Mykel.

"You guys have fought well," Beldathiel said as she put her hand into that reality. "You all suffered because of us, and now it's time for you all to rest and be at peace," Beldathiel made a crack inside that reality.

Elena and the others who saw their world shatter immediately looked at what caused it. They were all panicking at first, but then Elena smiled as she looked at the abyss in front of her. She said something, but they couldn't hear what she said, and then Beldathiel shattered that reality and destroyed it.

"This is the right choice," Nal said as she looked at Loki.

Loki nodded her head and understood how terrifying and saddening to witness that.
