Percy furrowed his brows further, ending the call and bending over to pick up Isabel’s mobile phone. Percy easily spotted that Isabel had missed seven calls on her cell phone. Upon unlocking the screen, he was met with a MMS.
Percy enlarged the photo attached to the MMS, a scene of bright lights and merry drinking displayed. Among the crowd, Percy spotted a familiar face. If he remembered correctly, that face belonged to Elijah Smith, Isabel’s younger brother, whom Percy and Isabel had encountered at “Ten Mile Prosperity” a few days previously.
Percy pressed the return button and read the text underneath the MMS:
“Sister Isabel, Elijah is at Magnificent right now spending extravagantly with a bunch of others. I’m sending you this photo so you can see for yourself.
